Meet the Seed Sowers

Henry I. Barclay, III

CPA & Seed Sowers Consultant

Before joining Seed Sowers, LLC, Henry was the managing partner of Lehmann, Ullman and Barclay LLP, a CPA firm in Birmingham, Alabama. He attended Tulane University and was graduated from the University of Alabama with a BS in Accounting in 1969. Prior to joining Lehmann, Ullman and Barclay, LLP, Henry was with Lybrand, Ross Brothers, and Montgomery (subsequently PriceWaterhouseCoopers). He concentrated much of his accounting career on estate planning and timber taxation. He is a Board Member and former President of The Full Life Ahead Foundation and The Alabama Forest Owners’ Association. He was Treasurer and a Board Member of the Forest History Society from 2003 until 2021. He is a former member of the Board and past president of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Birmingham, Alabama. He is a Board Member of Stuckey Timber Company, Inc. and The Great Oaks Financial Holdings, Inc.

He is a member of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Amy D. Adams

Attorney & Seed Sowers Consultant

Before joining Seed Sowers, LLC, Amy Davis Adams was a partner in a large Southeast law firm and was the head of its estate planning department. Amy often guided wealthy families through their charitable goals including establishing and advising numerous family foundations and assisting families with donor advised funds. Amy’s experience of helping families prior to Seed Sowers, LLC spanned over 20 years.

Amy enjoys using her knowledge to continue in this advisor role for Seed Sowers’ donors. Matching their charitable goals with entities that share her donors’ mission is of utmost importance to her.

Pam McAlister

Seed Sowers Consultant

Before joining Seed Sowers, Pamela McAlister spent 22 years as the office manager at a busy CPA practice. In addition, she also created and managed an Elder Care practice within the firm where she advised and cared for several families.  Her role as a mother of three now-adult boys prepared Pam well for ensuring that her clients were organized and their loved ones cared for properly. 

Helping families meet their charitable goals is of utmost importance to Pam in her position with Seed Sowers.
